I was looking to make a card for my mum for Mothers Day and I liked the idea of my teacup brooches as a little card decoration.
So I decided to take it a little further and make a few to see how they look.
The first picture is of the drawings on the shrinkie paper already cut out and ready for the oven.

Then , the bit I love , out come little plastic "jewels"
Sometimes if the shrinkie curls too much in the oven it can mark the finished piece , so there are some losses , also if I'm a bit messy when I'm inking any little mark is amplified when they shrink , so some losses there too.

I had some cream cards from another project and played around with the positioning,
They are quite small but I quite like the large amount of cream space on the cards.
I also inked up a few little 'sayings' under the images just to balance the whole look of the card
I think they look cute ....Ive posted some in my shop to see how they do x
