family fairy portrait

A while ago I was commissioned by a lovely fellow artist that I ' met ' from my old days selling ACEOs on ebay.

I had previously painted a family portrait for her some years ago but she has since had another child and wanted a new picture .

pepper sketch

This is a mixed media sketch on canvas effect paper of one of my cats. She is very inquisitive and independent and I think this sketch portrays her personality , it really makes me smile!

I am trying to sketch regularly just to try new things and practice drawing. 

It seems Pepper and Theo will be my muses for a while

poppies

This is a new painting .....I haven't painted in a while !!!

I love the poppies ..they were inspired by a card I painted for my sister-in-law ......the girl is a little moodier than usual and I love her hair , although my kids have commented that I always paint bobs!!!

The photo is a bit rubbish I should really try and improve my photographic skills!!!

I haven't drawn in a while and my kitten Theo was sleeping so peacefully I just had to get my sketch book out and do a quick sketch before he moved!!I even had time to put a bit of colour on ....he was sound asleep.....
